What ELKARO stores
ELKARO AI, operated by Orakle Robotics, stores your account name, email address, password hash, authentication records, projects, conversation organization, conversation history, and basic usage and security events. We store conversation history so you can return to it after signing out.
How your questions are processed
In the initial deployment, messages are processed by the local ELKARO model on our managed server. No external model provider, web search, or business integration is enabled. The service does not provide end-to-end encryption: its software must process your messages to generate responses.
Optional voice playback
Read aloud uses your browser’s speech service. On-device voices process speech locally; online voices may send the response text to your browser or operating system’s voice provider. Voice and speed preferences are stored in this browser. ELKARO does not record microphone audio for this feature.
Your controls
You can export and delete individual conversations, change your password, enable an authenticator, or deactivate your account in Account. Deactivation disables access and preserves the stored account and history; it is not data erasure. Deleted data can remain in backups until those backups expire under the configured backup retention period.
Cookies and logging
The application uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. Application request logs record paths, timing and status codes; they are configured to omit message bodies, passwords and authentication tokens. Security audit events help investigate misuse.
Use care with sensitive information
Only share information you are authorized to submit. Avoid passwords, payment credentials and unnecessary personal or confidential information. Additional privacy arrangements are needed before regulated or enterprise use.
